Have you suspected that your platonic friend has developed feelings for you?
It’s not necessarily true that every time a man and woman are seen together that something is going on. In some cases, they could be just platonic friends. However, we won’t deny the fact that it is possible to develop feelings for someone, especially if you spend a lot of time together.
Here are signs you that your platonic friend has developed feelings for you:
1. Late night texts.
Does your platonic friend text you late in the night? And not just those work-related texts; those texts that are capable of causing a warm feeling to gush through your veins. Something like “Lovely day today. Look forward to tomorrow!” Or “I did not know you are that good at this and that. We should do this again.” If you see this, it’s a no brainer; your platonic friend wants you bad!
2. Gives you a call every day.
If your platonic friend calls you after a long day together and mentions all manner of sweet things to make your heart melt, they probably feel something for you.
3. Finishes your sentences.
If your platonic friend finishes most of your sentences, it means that you know each other well. It could also mean that he or she is very keen on what you say or how you behave around them.
4. Wants to spend the whole day together.
If your platonic friend is always calling you to meet up so that you can spend the whole day together and also finds it hard to say goodbye, your friend could be in love with you.
5. Highly protective of you.
If your platonic friend protects you whenever you are in danger (real or imagined), it means that they have thought about you in other ways and they care.
6. Does not speak of their love life.
Have you ever heard about your friend talk about their love life? If not, you are probably his or her crush. If your friend doesn’t seem to notice other ‘fish in the sea’ when you are hanging out, then you are probably the only ‘fish in his jar.’
7. Knows everything about you.
Does your platonic remember your best color, favorite food, and best restaurant? If yes, then your platonic friend is head over heels for you!
